On Set, Three Cities

The kit stays the same. Everything around it doesn't.

Running production across three cities sounds like a logistics problem, and some of it is. But the harder part is context — what a crew, a location fixer or a client contact assumes is normal changes city to city.

Three things we changed after year one

• A shared pre-production checklist translated for each local team, not assumed universal
• Buffer days built in per city, not per shoot
• One producer travelling with the crew across all three legs, for continuity
